Wednesday, March 24 workout

So today has been a day! I was awake basically all night finishing the March 25 issue of the newspaper. It was a bitch and a half! I went to 12 pages, and one page was just a team photo basically. It took forever to slog out all the pages. I got home at 6:27 sharp, just in time for Jessica to take her van to work. That was ugly, getting just 40 minutes of sleep (about) before getting the girls to school. Then by 08:11 I was back in bed and falling back asleep. I remember waking up at 09:39 and dozing quickly back to sleep.

A few minutes after 11:00 and I was back at it, ready to go to the printing press. So adding it up, I operated today on just over 3 hours of sleep. I actually felt pretty good this afternoon getting ready for the long trip to Nevis for the basketball game. I am very likely running all kinds of adrenaline, which is not healthy at all.

Just shy of midnight, I snuck in another treadmill run.

WORKOUT No. 1 - a manual workout with a time of 05:51 and a distance of 0.27 miles. My estimated calorie burn was 43. I sped it up to over 4 miles an hour in the final 90 seconds or so, to try and lift that calorie number as high as I could. The elevation gain was 66 feet, and the average pace (minutes/mile) was 21:54. My effort score was 44.

My iFit score inched up to 66. I have a long ways to go. I am really trying to get 100 calories burnt each day on the treadmill. It's just a matter of fitting it into my schedule.

Weight wise, I am at 172 pounds, which is pretty amazing. That's just three pounds over my "bottomed out" weight that I logged this past fall. I really want to stick to about 170 pounds as best as I can.

Got back on the treadmill

I'll have to look at the iFit software data, but earlier this week I got back on the treadmill for about 10 minutes just before midnight...
